During the past ice season more than 650 FDDs were accumulated in Peshnoi area which makes it a moderate winter. First ice appeared in mid-November and ice was growing until mid-December when thawing period decreased amount of ice. Ice early January ice started its growth again and reached maximum of ice coverage and ice volume by end of February. Break-up process has started in early March. Small cold spell in late March has prolonged ice existence until early April. The season has totally lasted for about 135 days.
