During the past season just below 400 FDDs were accumulated in Peshnoi area which makes it a mild season. Ice has appeared in middle of November although it has not grown significantly until middle of December. By end of month ice cover has reached about 50% and stayed at that level until middle of February. Ice volume was continuously increasing through December, January and February and reached maximum of about 10 cubic kilometers by middle of February. Break-up started in the second half of February. By middle of March has completely melted. Ice season duration was about 120 days which is an average value observed through history of observations.
